Communications Intern (80-100%, 6 months term)
We are looking for a candidate who will assist our Communications Officer and other members of the management team with a wide range of tasks and development projects including the revision and update of website content using CMS, the writing and proofreading of information pieces for external and internal channels, content publishing on our online channels, the processing of media inquiries, the organization of events, media monitoring, and administrative duties as needed. Depending on its skills, the successful candidate may also engage in other tasks such as in the production and editing of videos and photographs, or in the graphic design of print and online material.
The candidate should be studying communications, journalism, media studies, or a related field, and have strong skills in both English and German (written and spoken). He/she should have proficient Microsoft Office skills (esp. in Word and Powerpoint), and be experienced in creating web content (CMS, Wordpress, HTML). Skills and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (esp. InDesign and Photoshop), in graphic design, photography or video editing, are considered desirable assets. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a high level of initiative and the ability to take responsibility. He/she is able to work independently, but is also a great team player. He/she has a strong interest in architecture and technology, as well as a general interest in science, and is seeking an internship that will challenge himself/herself with a variety of tasks, but will reward him/her with insight into innovation, meeting a wide range of international people, and working in a creative and dynamic work environment. The internship (80-100%) is a six-month position starting March 1, 2017 or by agreement. The NCCR Digital Fabrication offices are located at ETH Hönggerberg.
