Mechanical Engineering Intern

FireDrone develops a high-temperature resistant drone system for firefighting and industrial inspection, combining thermal protection, hardware design, and autonomy. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you work directly with our engineering team on hardware that is built, tested, and flown - with ownership of real components from day one. You will design parts, mounts, and enclosures in CAD, validate them with FEA, run component and thermal tests, and assemble, debug, and fly-test drone hardware. Paid 6-month internship at the Empa campus in Dübendorf. Start ASAP, flexible until September 2026. Send your CV and a short motivation letter by Sunday 23rd of August.
