Postdoctoral Fellow
In Silicon Carbide detector Technologies
Your tasks
  • Development of processes for the fabrication of Silicon Carbide detectors for transparent-mode beam monitoring and full detection of X-rays and protons beams
  • Development of processes for the fabrication of Silicon Carbide detectors for high temperature alpha-particles detection
  • Characterization and installation of the fabricated detectors at the synchrotron, cyclotron and free electron laser facilities at PSI
Your profile
The successful candidate should have a PhD degree in physics or engineering and experience in, semiconductor based, photons or ions detectors fabrication and/or design. You should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment. Being an enthusiastic researcher and a good team player will help to ensure your success in completing your post-doctoral position in this exciting field of study. Direct cleanroom experience in Silicon Carbide processing is highly welcome.
